<p>I was doing a practice test in barrons and while checking the questions I got wrong, I came across a question that I thought the test book said was the wrong answer. Because the answer explanation didnt make sense and it seemed there was a mistake. I brought this to my Calculus AP teacher and my mom (who’s a Math genius, she took the IQ test and got 197, which is genius level) and my mom came to the conclusion that the Test book made a horrible mistake.</p>

<p>This sucked up over 2+ hours of time. Now Im mad at Barrons for not checking their answers.</p>

<p>Ive come across so many typos and errors in diagrams and answers to problems that Im super angry. I use my 2003 edition and each time I come across an error I go to my 2009 edition (which I had to buy for a class) and check it over and the typo/error is still there. It’s the EXACT same copy except that they changed the year on the cover. </p>

<p>Im sick of them not even fixing the easy typo errors and making me doubt myself and not understand questions because they screw up themselves.</p>

<p>That’s nice; too bad there’s no test with anywhere near the ability to measure above 150.</p>

<p><em>Ahem</em>, anyway. Uh, yeah. Barron’s are human, as cc3c said, so they can’t make everything perfect. Besides, it’s a good challenge to “correct” some of the flaws in the book, ne?</p>

<p>i wouldn’t put too much of the blame on barrons. other test prep books, like kaplan and rea, also make similar mistakes. after all, these books are just there to help.</p>

<p>See, this is just an example of how effective Barrons really is. They have trained you to the point where you can easily point out the mistakes in their answers.</p>

<p>The only useful thing in Barron`s prep book is the vocab list and only if you have enough time to study.</p>
