How is the new edition of Barron’s how to prepare for the SAT? I heard its practice tests are extremely hard. Is this true?

If you are talking about the SAT 2400: Aiming for the Perfect Score book, I find that it is extremely boring to read, and very little advice on strategies themselves. I recommend you buy [SparkNotes The New Sat](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1411401506/sr=8-1/qid=1153319810/ref=sr_1_1/103-6341191-5219812?ie=UTF8), that book has some really nice strategies that seem to work. And, it is also not boring to read.

There is also an online version of the book at:

I’ve heard Barron’s tends to be harder than the real SAT, but don’t have that book myself. The PR book has good strategies and tests, tho.

The Barron’s stuff is harder that the real thing.

Which one has the 3500 word list?

Barron’s 2004 something has the 3500 word list
