<p>I got an email saying that i am “invited to apply for the Baruch Scholars Program.” This requires an essay. They are asking one 300-500 words, but my personal essay is 650 and i cant make it any shorter. I have been editing it and have taken 306 words already. Everything that is left is really important and just can not be taken out, and everything that could be summed up is already summed up. Can I use this essay even tho its above the word count? Would it hurt my chances of getting in?</p>
