I will, for the next two years, be in charge of a saxophone quintet/ensemble that will travel and do free shows to support a [currently unnamed] cancer foundation. Until I receive a cancer foundation to work for, the donated money will go towards the music program at my school where we’re in a $40,000 budget crisis…

As far as service goes, I’m not part of anything HUGE [other than my saxophone quintet], but I will end up with over 1000 hours of service.

–Miscellaneous Info–

I think I’d like to go to business school. I’m still completely undecided. I know my leadership skills may help with that.

So I have the sax ensemble and drum major which makes certain things impossible. Taking care of my grandmother with Alzheimer’s Disease also makes things interesting. She’s been living with us since I was 2, and since I was able to, I’ve been feeding her and helping her with basic life tasks (brushing teeth, making her breakfast/dinner/etc.). My dad has to take care of her during the day, and therefore is self/un-employed.

I know I’m missing a lot of stuff, and I feel like I’m lacking in certain areas. Any suggestions advice?

Also, I don’t remember who, but I stole the set-up of this from someone else, so thanks for that!

This is my first little qualifications list like this, so thanks for reading it!

Edit: I’d really like to get a scholarship. How much money could I expect? I’m new to this. Been reading up on CC.com to get info. I’m an incoming Junior so I’d better be prepared!

No replies…bad omen! :P

you’re probably in but here’s what worries me. Nothing in your application suggests business (leadership yes, but that would apply for most any sphere in life.)

There is no scholarship money based on merit (unless you get outside funding) but you are likely to have a HUGE financial aid package. Enjoy!

Yeah, I actually am not sure about a major. I kinda want to double major business and something else. You’re definitely right on that.

And I definitely didn’t mean to ask about scholarships! I meant financial aid. So that’s good. I’m new to this :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks for your help!

you don’t need business to get to wharton. You might want the expereince though, because you can’t know if it’s your thing or not unless you’ve done it

What worries me more is that 98% of this is projected. Go get it first and then we will chance you for real.

looks good. since you’re “fluent” in spanish, you might apply for the huntsman program. but make sure the you’re fluent… lots of non-natives think they are but they aren’t.
