My biggest concern is that I will fall under the category of the “well-rounded” applicant pool, but without enough of a hook in any one area to really secure my place at these colleges and universities. I was thinking about trying to use my internships as my biggest hook, including getting a recommendation from my mentor (who went to Williams) as well as writing my common app essay about my biochemistry internship.
