Basic Facebook question

I know we have a bunch of facebook threads…but here is the answer I need…

Once I accept a friend, how do I limit what that one friend can see??? A couple of friends are really for professional purposes and so they don’t need to see much of my stuff - probably more I need to see their posts. Where do I go to edit for individual friends or lists? (I have a “professional” list).

TIA.

i would set them up as groups. i do the same thing on my facebook. Then, you can set posts for all tos ee, or just for certain groups, or even certain people to see in it’s privacy settings (the thing that looks like a Lock). you can do the same thing for photos and other things as well. PM me and I can give you more info when I get home from work if you would like.

Fendergirl and others- there is a link on the left side of facebook page and it is “create group” - is this how you subgroup your “friends”.
Also, how do you determine what they see.
Do you decide each time you post, or is it preset with those icons when you create friend group.
