<p>Hey I am interested in studying music performance in college and i want to study electric bass, but I cant seem to find any other colleges other than berklee that offer electric bass. Could you reccommend some colleges for me. I live in the midwest so that is my preference but m open to any. Thank your for the help I appreciate it.</p>

<p>Within the context of a music performance major, I personally don’t know of any institution with a performance concentration in electric bass. There are numerous programs that offer concentration in Jazz Studies and contemporary music (Berklee as you mentioned, The New School (NYC) <a href=“http://www.newschool.edu/jazz/[/url]”>http://www.newschool.edu/jazz/</a> is another.)</p>
