In the process of replacing an inadequate bathroom ceiling fan; not enough cfm, and not super quiet. Would love to get a 110 cfm and very low sones( measure of noise level). Anyone have experience with a model that is reliable, long lasting, trouble free, and has the above mentioned qualities of low noise level and power? I have researched a bit and have a few candidates, but I’d love to hear real world knowledge.

I installed a Panasonic one a year or so ago that’s supposed to be low sones but it’s definitely louder in operation here than I remember it being in the store but it could be due to the way they mounted it in addition to the background noise there.

The Home Depots I went to had a bunch of them operational in the store so one could operate the different ones and listen to them.

After trying a couple of traditional bathroom fans and not being happy with the sound level and/or air movement, we installed an inline fan and have been very happy with it. It moves a lot more air, and is much quieter.

Here some links. I think ours is the FR150.
