Battlefield 1942

Watching any W.W. II movie triggers me to go and play some BattleField 1942 and play the appropriate levels…

Omaha Beach after Saving Private Ryan
Operation Market Garden after A Bridge Too Far…etc

I now made a BF1942 clan with friends from school and the teamwork on the battlefield is awesome.
I heard Call of Duty was better, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Who else plays BF1942?

I used to, but usually I go for the more realistic games.

Call of Duty is quite fun though. If you’ve played Medal of Honor, it is a tad similar. However, the emphasis is on squad-based actions in authentic locations, which makes it a much better world-war 2 experience than MoH. Realism has also been bumped up a notch, so there is less running and gunning and more teamwork involved.

I prefer Battlefield Vietnam, which is by far the coolest game… ever.

Dogs of War is going to be the new MoH game that comes out this year I think. It’s supposed to be squad-based action in Europe, which will be a lot better than the old ones, even though those were awesome. I also want to try Brothers in Arms. Has anyone played that one yet?

used to play bf1942 and bfvietnam but I stopped, they get boring after a while with people cheating. I stick to half life 2 and gt4.

I play BF1942–can I join your clan? I’m tired of pubbing.

Fly a bomber, I’ll watch yer butt in my fighter while we wreak hell muahahah.

I don’t play Battlefield, but we play a lot of Call of Duty on the network in college. We just got new computers in the computer lab where all the gamers live, and it’s been almost non-stop CoD since then. It rocks.

CoD is gerat! especially that PPhS gun, i’m pretty good wiht it… when i’m not laggin!

I played it like all the time this summer, but I haven’t played since.

I’ll play it again if i get a new computer. I have my Half-Life 2 case with me as well, but my computer can’t run it.
