Watching any W.W. II movie triggers me to go and play some BattleField 1942 and play the appropriate levels…

Omaha Beach after Saving Private Ryan
Operation Market Garden after A Bridge Too Far…etc

I now made a BF1942 clan with friends from school and the teamwork on the battlefield is awesome.
I heard Call of Duty was better, but I haven’t tried it yet.

I used to, but usually I go for the more realistic games.

Call of Duty is quite fun though. If you’ve played Medal of Honor, it is a tad similar. However, the emphasis is on squad-based actions in authentic locations, which makes it a much better world-war 2 experience than MoH. Realism has also been bumped up a notch, so there is less running and gunning and more teamwork involved.

Dogs of War is going to be the new MoH game that comes out this year I think. It’s supposed to be squad-based action in Europe, which will be a lot better than the old ones, even though those were awesome. I also want to try Brothers in Arms. Has anyone played that one yet?

I don’t play Battlefield, but we play a lot of Call of Duty on the network in college. We just got new computers in the computer lab where all the gamers live, and it’s been almost non-stop CoD since then. It rocks.
