Hey everyone. I’m a Business Major with Music Industry minor at USC, a rising Junior. I have lots of experience in the music and entertainment business but I am planning to move up to the Bay Area (San Jose or San Francisco) after I graduate. In terms of finding good jobs with Tech and Social Media companies, what types of classes will best prepare me for finding jobs up there in the tech capital of CA.

Video Game classes

Digital Media classes

Web Technology classes

Programming/Engineering classes

I am planning to drop my music minor to get involved with technology in some aspect. My expertise is in Music and Entertainment Digital Sales and Marketing Strategy.

Help? Thanks!
J

Web technology and programming classes would be your best bet.

Video gaming as an industry seems to be on the decline.

Everyone and their dog is getting into digital media, so there are lots of people (and dogs) competing for work and keeping pay rather low.
