Late to post but I thought I would update. My daughter received the I2E scholarship from the first round. She’s super excited to receive the full tuition award. She was in the engineering session.
We toured Baylor last Fall and she loved it but in order to attend, she needed the scholarship.
Congrats to your daughter! Did she also receive other merit awards and do they stack on top of the i2e? My son is going through Round 2 and we are hopeful he has a chance.
Do you have any idea the number of I2E awards are given vs how many finalists? My understanding is that since it’s a full tuition scholarship, it trumps any other prior awards and will not stack. Good luck to your son!
Does anyone know about the difficulty in earning the Distinguished Scholars Day scholarship? My D21 just completed her faculty round, and I am just wondering how difficult it is to be named a scholarship winner for this. Any insight is appreciated.
I would also like to know this, too - daughter has faculty round in a few weeks. Also, anybody know the timeline for announcing the Hankamer Scholars? Website says by March 1 so wondering if anybody has heard.
Or timeline for Carr P. Collins Scholarship?
She received $96k for 4 years prior to her application to I2E. The I2E is a full tuition scholarship and does not stack with her previous merit award.

I just checked with someone at Baylor and they said they do stack.
I was told the I2Excellence one does not stack since it is full tuition. It would take the place of the academic scholarship that my daughter got w her acceptance letter. Have no idea how many I2E they actually give out…her admission counselor did not know. I am guessing it’s a long shot anyway.
The original merit scholarship is not in my daughter’s portal any longer; the I2E scholarship is. I do believe it replaces the original merit amount. However, I can call Baylor tomorrow and ask…seems unlikely as it is now a full tuition scholarship. But it’s worth a call

Just saw the Business Fellows and Hankamer Scholars decisions came out and wondered if anyone knows if scholarships come with them?
We were accepted to Baylor Honors Program early and but the financial package was not as high as we had hoped. We are still waiting on decisions from US Air Force Academy and Vanderbilt University. Patience is being tested, but hopeful to have choices.
(Put this on the I2E forum also) Did anyone do the I2E event today? When is the essay due? Can’t find a date anywhere.
My daughter did. She attended the Social Work session. I think it’s due in a week but that is not official…I can ask her when she gets home if you haven’t gotten an exact answer. I am also wondering what the I2E forum is that you mentioned? Do you know if all the essay prompts are the same regardless of what session they attended?
