<p>did anyone else notice how baylor university went from admitting 66% of applicants last year to 43% this year? this has to be some sort of record on improvement in the drop rate of admission of schools in one year.</p>

<p>According to the school the SAT rate shot up as well. Last year I believe the average was like an 1190, from what they sent so far this year it is a 1250, but thats all accepted students - some of the top scorers likely use baylor as a backup.</p>
<p>^ agreed. avgs are generally biased because there are batches of students with exceptional stats appyling there. At the same time, they accept studnets with lower avgs too so it could avg out</p>
