My son is applying EA to Baylor. It’s one of his top choices. Business major. ACT 31 GPA 4.2 W. Hoping for decent merit. Go Bears!

Update: he got accepted today with $100k merit scholarship. We are all excited but waiting to see other offers. Go Bears! My Alma mater!

Hello! Do we know how Baylor does acceptances? Every day/several times a week? It’s a top choice for my daughter and she had her first friend get her Baylor acceptance yesterday, but nothing for her yet. She’s top 12%, AP rigor, great EC’s, applied 8/13, recently switched to test optional. I’m wondering how long we’ll have to wait! Any information would be great :smiley:

Thanks. I think he finished his application in mid August or early September.

Not sure when you will hear but her stats are great. I know a boy in my son’s school who has super high stats (SAT>1500 and all As with tons of AP classes) and he hasnt heard back. Good luck.

To the extent it helps, my son applied 10/7 and received his admission on 10/14 with the $100k merit scholarship. Aerospace engineering major; ACT 32. His weakness is his GPA with a 3.7 W but trending in the right direction. He has good ECs and I felt like he had a strong essay and “why Baylor” submission coming from Georgia. Baylor’s aerospace engineering program is relatively new and my son seemed to develop a good rapport with the engineering academic counselor we met on our tour, so I wonder if that helped him.
