<p>Easy: line 45: “what I perceive as their ideas” = “true opinions” and “mistakes, involuntary grunts” = “unconscious expressions.”</p>

<p>The only tricky bit is the word “betray” in the answer choice–you certainly know it can mean “to break someone’s trust,” but it also means (and frequently on the SAT) “to reveal or disclose.”</p>
