BB Second Edition Test #1

I got these scores
CR - 480
M - 550
W - 560 (excluding essay)

How are these scores?

If I continue to do these practice tests and review my answers on each question I get wrong, what do you suppose I could bring my score up to in 1-2 years? I’m also working on memorizing my Direct Hits vocab.

I’m done memorizing the Direct Hits vocabulary.
I know most of the words that usually pop up on the SAT.
I have the second edition book too, after completing my old one.

I just did the first practice like you.

CR: 530
M: 580
W: 580

Senior by the way… so you’re very lucky. =/

HopefulEagle, there’s something seriously wrong if you’re receiving a 530 CR and you know all the vocabulary words. Find a new technique for tackling passage-based questions.

^ Stop with the sentence completions right?

Stop with them? Develop a technique that works for you, obviously if you’re getting 20+ wrong on the passage-based questions, there’s something wrong with your technique. The questions are not overly difficult, but require a concise and focused mind-set.

your SAT growth depends on how smart you are, how much work you put in, the books you have, and your methods of working [efficiency], and a bunch of things that I missed. too much to factor in for a prediction.

but to give you an answer [assuming you are decent in all aspects], you can get at least a 650 in each section.
