<p>The answer key says its (A) but shouldn’t it be (C) since it’s in Quadrant III?? ARGH</p>
<p>WOW I just figured out my own question. </p>
<p>For the coordinate (a,b) in Quadrant IV, coordinate (b) is ALREADY negative. For example, the coordinate could be (3,-4) where a=3 and b=-4.</p>
<p>Answer choice (A) (-a,b) is the correct answer because negating (a) would give -3.
(b) stays the same, so b=-4. </p>
<p>(-a,b)= (-3,-4) which is in Quadrant IV.</p>
