I know many undergraduate Sociology Majors go on to do their MBA but what use is a dual degree of BBA and Sociology?

My long term goal is to lead a company or firm which effects social change.(Intergroup Dialogue Programs, Education etc). So I hope to do an MBA to achieve this and then use my Sociology major to complement it. Short term goals would be to use my BBA experience to gain a job in consulting/ marketing, which would train me for my Masters and give me the real world experience I would need for my long term goal.

Does this seem nonsensical? If so, is there any worth is pursuing such a dual degree.
