My sister is currently a senior, meaning of course I’ve been dragged to college tours. I feel like overall, I’m a very “Golidlocks” person. I like things that are in the middle of things. For instance, here are some things I like and don’t like about schools

I like that BU has a diverse community.

I don’t like that BU is so huge. I don’t want to feel like a number, and I like the guidance that comes with going to a smaller school.

I don’t like that BU has no campus.

I like BC’s campus, which is similar to Columbia’s. It is near a city, but it has a campus.

I like the spirit that BC has, which I really did feel when I went to visit. But I don’t like that it is totally white and way too into sports.

I don’t like that NYU has no sports. It feels to me like sports to bring a sense of community to a college. Maybe that’s just me. Lol.

I like that NYU has so many interning options, like how Northeastern has co-ops and plenty of job opportunities.

I like that Amherst and BC stress community service.

I do want to go to school that is with top students and well-known. I know this is shallow to say but hey, most of us think this.

I’d prefer a school in the New England area, or around that area/up to the Atlantic states.
