Let me know if you think BC is at all realistic for me

For most competitive colleges, grades/rank/etc. can only get you so far. Your legacies might help you. But, probably your ECs/recs/essays be a big factor in distinguishing you from other applicants. Just try to take a leading role this year!

Dear toastmaster : Your SAT scores, GPA and class rank are all within the sweet spots for BC admissions. Based on the limited data here, yes, BC is in range.

To really get into the details, your AP curriculum needs to be exposed (Calc BC vs. Art History for example) with some description of your successes. You will be competing against AP scholars with six or more exams under their belt. Honors program students will have ten or more.

Does your tennis background go year-round? Are you a two or three season athlete in High School? Do you participate in club sports?

Are there music or arts courses to offer from High School? Can you supply more details about your volunteerism? Leadership would be a good thing to demonstrate in parallel with your legacy tradition.
