AC Marriott on Cleveland Circle is walking distance to campus.

There is no hotel on campus but most people stay at AC Marriott Cleveland Circle. If you search hotels on the BC website there are a list of hotels near campus. We are headed there next week as well.

Marriott in Cleveland circle is the closest. There is a parents Facebook group titled “Boston College Parents Page (all years - all BC parents are welcome)”. It is moderated by parents and not officially affiliated with the school. Lots of good info can be found if you can get past the handful of parents who tend to dominate. Some 2026 parents have already joined. I’m sure you will be able to join and then just leave the group if your son decides on another school.

I think you meant to post on the Boston University page. Questrom is BU’s business school. BC has the Carroll school of management. Both are great schools, congrats to your D!

AC Marriott Cleveland Circle and they offer a Boston College discount that’s pretty good.

I think is absolutely yield protection. My daughter was waitlisted BC but got in Tulane, Amherst,Williams & Colgate

It is hard to stay on waitlist. U will never know when u will be off list until June or July.

We also visited recently and AO directly stated that “BC does not track demonstrated interest.”
Yes my daughter was accepted into BU, but we were really surprised by being waitlisted at BC
She’s also waitlisted at UNC, and UMich as well.
It’s been a crazy college admission process.
These kids are being out through the ringer.

It honestly just makes no sense to me. My DD22 was waitlisted at BC, NEU and UMich but accepted to Northwestern and BU (Questrom & Kilichand) so far. 
I think that’s a geography issue. BC, Mich, NEU are likely getting a TON of apps from your neck of the woods. NU not as many. Not sure about BU but I bet fewer kids from your school applied there versus BC. The competition is stiff for NE kids to the popular colleges in the NE that are trying to diversify.

My daughter was the opposite
Accepted at Northeastern and BC and our state university Berkeley, but waitlisted at Northwestern

Northwestern is much better than BC, BU NEU, and UMich
