Top 5%?! I don’t know about that!
haha. But hey, I wouldn’t be surprised if you got accepted and I didn’t, iPacman!
You never know…admissions can be random ;)

^Ur definitely in the top 5%. You not only are you a valedictorian, but also have exceptional other qualities (test scores, ECs, etc.). Additionally, not as many competitive valedictorians apply to Dartmouth ED (as opposed to RD), so they will definitely want to take you.

You know, I never thought about it like that…now that I think about it, you’re right. Most competitive valedictorians apply to Stanford SCEA, Yale EA, or MIT EA. Usually not to Dartmouth…Hmm. Well, I sure hope your prediction is correct and they DO take me!
Thanks for the input, I V! :)

Wow, this may be one of the most popular chance threads I have ever seen!
That’s pretty cool!
Thanks guys! ;)

Hey, does anybody know the EXACT date that ED admissions will be released? I’ve heard from some that it is near the 10th, and others say that they will be released near the deadline of December 15th. A clarification would be much appreciated! :)

Last call for decisions!
Any feedback would be much appreciated! :)

From a mom of a '13 who had somewhat better stats but not nearly your fabulous ECs: You have as good of a shot as anyone could have. My son also was so strong in math/science but wanted to study physics and engineering at a liberal arts college, study abroad, and learn to have more fun. He was accepted ED and he is extremely happy at Dart. It is a wonderfully accepting community of mostly very happy people. And the professors are fabulous.

Hope you have good news soon. And if you do, I recommend attending Dimensions even though you are ED. It is a great beginning to the wonderful welcome that Dartmouth offers incoming first years.

lol i saw you on discover dartmouth!
anyway, there’s really no reason for this thread to even exist.
you’re definitely getting in

my brother who’s taking ap calc bc in 8th t.t

but anyhow, your definitely getting in! you have great ECs and stats plus an obvious passion for dartmouth!

have fun at the ski resort! :D

^That’s impressive. I was still finishing up Precalc in 8th.

Pranam0,
if you get in I sort of am picturing a bit of that guy “Kumar” as in the hilarious Harold and Kumar go to White Castle (ot gitmoe for part 2)-guy is a real brainiac but loves frat life a bit too much for his own good!I can picture the frat guys wheels spinning just knowing that if Praman0 is in their frat they can get free tutoring. LOL
Good luck. Hope that many of you are all friends this time next year, As Dylan said in his Album of Grammy fame in 2000…“trade places with an of 'em, if I only could.” (or words to similar effect).
Its good to be young, smart, happy, the world is your oyster!
