Haha aww thanks Ebone!
I appreciate the vote of confidence! :)

Wow, thatâs all I can say. Youâre in :)

Anouchi, I wish you were a Dartmouth admissions officer!
haha. I sure hope you are right! :)

By the way, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! :)

OMG you are like my academic twin but with more impressive extracurriculars (which, by the way, are unbelievable)! haha we have almost identical SATs, GPAs, and HEY youâre in multivariable calc, too? As intelligent as you clearly are, I think you can surmise just as well as I can that theyâd be insane not to accept you! So for sure I hope Iâll get to see you there next year :)

Haha thatâs the exact same thing I said when I read your chance thread, but I think you arenât giving yourself enough credit with your extracurriculars, because they are very impressive! Oh, because you said âtwinâ, I just wanted to point out a funny, random fact: I really have a twin
She has literally an identical resume as I doâŠexact same extracurriculars, GPA, and almost identical SAT scores. Sheâs applying to Caltech and MIT though, because she is really focused on engineering, while I like both engineering and the biological sciences.
I really hope you and me both get in! Iâm not going to keep my hopes up too high, because Dartmouth IS an Ivy LeagueâŠbut wouldnât it be absolutely amazing if we both are Big Green next year?! :D

Woah! I just read your stats. I am 110% certain you will get in.

You donât know how much I hope you are right, kaira07! :)

haha thatâs hilarious that you do actually have a twin! I try to tell myself the same thing about it being an ivy and not holding my breath, but itâs hard not to get a little investedâŠ
also, engineering and biological sciences? I definitely applied to univ of wisconsin-madison for biomedical engineering since they donât have neuroscienceâŠlol. oh and jw, but did you visit dartmouth? thatâs what completely sold me on it versus other ivies

I know! I really hope she gets into MIT, so we wonât be too far away!
MIT is by far her first choice.
Exactly! My mom tells me to just let it be and that whatever happens, happens. Like you, however, I am really invested in this!
haha. Wow! UW-Madison has some really distinguished professors in Biology!
I was really into Neuroscience, but I think if I major in Biochemistry, it will help to keep my options open.
Plus, my extracurriculars definitely point to engineering, so I want to keep that option in the picture!
haha. YES YES! I DID visit, and that is was the climax in my decision making process!
I already liked Dartmouth after doing research on the departments and programs, but the atmosphere and the people there totally finalized my decision to apply there Early Decision!
Wow, we are so identical in so many ways!
It would be awesome to meet you at Dartmouth! :)

^ You mightâve just set a record for the number of smileys used in a single post.

That said, I would definitely accept you if I were an Adcom!!! :D

Haha, you may be right on that one, iamanapp
I think they help to communicate emotions more effectively
haha. I appreciate your input, my friend! I sure hope you are right! :)

I would bet large amounts of money on you being accepted. I canât imagine you being rejected at all. Good luck! :)

Wow, seriously?!
Being accepted into an Ivy League school the caliber of Dartmouth is still such a far-fetched notion for me! Iâm glad you and everybody else have so much confidence in me, because it makes up for the lack of confidence I have in my own chances of getting accepted! ;)

Youâre in dude.

Dude, I secretly wish you were an undercover Dartmouth admissionâs officer!
haha. I really hope you prove to be correct come December 15th! Thank you! :)

Congrats, youâve accomplished a hell of a lot. Seems to me that you are in the top 80% or so of applicants, and being from Georgia helps. I would take you.

Thanks jjjjoseph!
But Top 80% is not very muchâŠhopefully I will be in the top 20% of ED applicants which would propel me to an acceptance letter!
haha.

I think you are in the top 5%âŠ

I hope Claddagh is right, or else people like me would have no chance haha.
