<p>Even though you URM I think you would still need at least a 2100 on your SATs to get into Yale. Your ec’s are ok, but not great. It depends what you get on your SAT. If its 2100 plus, I think you have an above average chance.</p>
<p>lavendercloud, I guess what I meant by the location being a definite plus is that Minnesota is probably not highly represented at Yale, and they are looking for geographic diversity. I think they would prefer a person from minnesota to a person from new york, massachussets or california given identical profiles. I could be wrong however, I am no expert.</p>

<p>no matter what all of you think minorities like myself aren’t guaranteed admission anywhere. Race is a factor but it is not the only factor. URMs who depend on this will be soarly disappointed when it somes time to open their admissions letters.</p>
