im writing a short essay on my culture. At the end im pointing out being 2 different cultures, and my last sentence of the essay is-
As Hannah Montana said, “you get the best of both worlds”.
is that appropriate?

Humor is good. An attempt at humor which doesn’t work can be problematic. I’d get the opinion of several readers regarding whether or not the humor works before including it.
