THANK YOU <33333

Anybody? :(

Dear nyuismydream : Interesting observation from your profile is that you moved from an International Baccalaureate program (which is typically seen in international profiles) to a more standard Advanced Placement curriculum. Your GPA seems well placed in the upper tenth of your class. Your forecast SAT range is just too wide to draw any meaningful conclusions. At an 1800 three-way score, your application will not receive much attention as it will be the bottom quartile. At 2100, you will attract considerable attention, particularly if there is three way balance in the scores.

On your advanced placement, AP Calculus is always preferred to Statistics in terms of mathematical rigor, so be aware of that should you be looking for placement into a higher level math course.

Sports and music participation are both missing from your profile in their entirety. Fine arts is covered through your photography background which emerges as a passion for you when reading the profile. Perhaps some thought as to how it touches your life might be an influence in your essay section?

In closing, your first steps is in getting your SAT scores to a strong level … even if you are thinking of attending NYU! Next is to consider how you might be able to add some additional diversity into your extra curriculars. Good luck.

Thank you scottj, you sound a lot like an admissions officer… I am secretly suspecting you are one! :o jk jk!
