Be wary of the UW...

Hi, I am a former student with a little insight into the UW I wish I had nine years ago. For one, financial aid is non-existent for the majority. Their stats might say one thing, but in actuallity unless you are a minority or one sibling of 20 in a household making under 20,000, your chances for aid are almost non-existent (I had one friend of the hundreds I knew at UW receive aid and it was because UW accidently listed him as a minority and his mores were too low to be honest enough to fix it!). Washington State Univeristy on the other hand hands out money left and right to get people to go there!!!

As well, if the UW makes an accounting error there is no way to fix it but legal action. They will deny helping you when it comes to money they feel they are owed . In 2002 they lost over $7,000 of MY OWN money which ultimately led to me leaving school with a year left and a 3.91 GPA. When I tried to return in 2006 they charged me over 11,000 when I wasn’t even in school and I spent 8 months with a lawyer and my state representative dealing with this and it cost me way more than $11,000 even though I won!!!

I don’t have a degree, but I do have a wall full of worthless awards from UW and an IQ that ranges in the 150’s to the 170’s depending on how much sleep I got the night before. Hopefully Kanye West was right and I will be able to use those awards to keep me warm at night in the squallor I live in… without a degree… without money… without the future the University of Washington made me believe in only to take away…

Kanye West is not that great other than his songs

You’re an IMPOSTER from Washington State University… face it, ■■■■■, UW > WSU.

As I know there is student association at UW that provides help with legal actions.

Just curious, what kind of awards you have?

for one, I’m not sure how credible your story is because you showed a lot of enthusiasm when talked about Wazzu.

But about the financial aid, I’m not too surprised that it would give less than Wazzu. After all, it is considered far more prestigious school and its funding has been getting cut down every year (of course, this is nation-wide, not just the state of Washington).
