<p>I signed up for Beaty Towers in my housing contract. However, I was wondering if roommate assignments are based on year level, or if no attention is placed at all on year, because I would prefer to room with other freshmen. Thanks.</p>
<p>I’m not sure, but believe me when I say that age and year start to not count for much once you get to college. Don’t be afraid of sophomores and above.</p>
<p>I lived in Beaty Towers, and it was a great experience. You will most likely be paired with another incoming freshmen.</p>
