<p>hi, i got into George Mason Honors college.
and now im failing AP chemistry, and i wanted to know if there is greater chance of me getting denied from honors college?
i have good grades but that AP class, and the teacher is just not helpful at all.</p>
<p>but then again im taking another science class and have a good grade. so i dont know if they will consider that too</p>
<p>It’s never good to fail a class in your final semester. Since it’s an AP class, perhaps your school would allow you to drop it without a negative mark in your final transcript. Before you do that, I recommend you talk to your chemistry teacher about the situation – to find out what she expects of you so you get at least a C, and perhaps to get her blessing to drop the class in case she doesn’t think that will happen.</p>
