Can you raise your bed at Northeastern? (I’m thinking to fit a foot locker for storage of winter clothes, etc.) thanks.

Yep, 99% sure you can.

yes you can…but you must mean storing your summer clothes ;)

Well… many freshman rooms have lofted beds, in which case you have your dresser and desk under your bed. If not, then you can adjust the mattress to be higher than normal (not using risers), and you can fit your dresser underneath it-- presumably also being able to fit something else. Even if you leave your bed at its normal height, I had room to spare by putting my laundry basket underneath or putting two flat under-bed boxes on top of each other. So I don’t really think you’ll need to use bed risers anyway.

Also, I think they may be banned from dorms, but I’m not sure. A bunch of times they sell stuff in the bookstore that you’re not even allowed to have in dorms, haha.

Thanks, everyone! Funny about storing winter clothes – yep, I guess it gets cold in Boston pdq.
