By how much would these make a difference, exactly?

I’m inclined to believe that it would make some difference, since it sounds ridiculous to ignore a 10 year old winning an Oscar, let’s say.

WIth the exception of things like being an Olympic gold medalist or winning an Oscar before high school, before h.s. ECs don’t matter when it comes to admission. In fact, when it comes to admission, for most colleges, even high school ECs don’t matter. The colleges may at most use them for merit aid. The exceptions are the most competitive colleges – places like Harvard – who can afford to pick and choose from their overabundance of high stat applicants the ones who’ll most contribute to creating an active, diverse student body.

Of course extra curriculars matter. If you are applying to your local community college, well… duh, you can be a bum and still attend. If you’re even slightly thinking of going to a better college or applying for merit scholarship, ECs are your only bet. There are tens of thousands (maybe even hundreds, idk) of kids who have 4.0s. How are you going to be different from them?

Thanks for the advice, both of you.

How much would voice acting in English for children nationwide in Turkey matter?

lol, that would definitely give you a thumbs-up for creativity in the admissions officer’s eyes.
How was that beneficial to the children in Turkey?

It was to teach them English.

For English books.

Unless you continued doing something similar in h.s., it’s interesting, but not that impressive. It’s not like you won an Academy Award for acting while in middle school, which would indicate that you had remarkable acting skills, the type of thing that would be expected to get even better as you got older. If you’re continuing to do well in acting, though, that could be an impressive EC.

Actually, I was supposed to do it in high school, too, but unfortunately the company stopped producing the books.

I certainly would if I had the opportunity.
