what will happen to my financial aid?
I attend uic, I am a sophomore. I got into an altercation with another student (who was my ex boyfriend, also hitting me first) and got suspended until December. I want to enroll into another school, will I be able to do that in the fall with my fafsa, this school year is a different academic year so I figure it would be two different years with fafsa so it might be okay? Also when im suspended will my loans start to be due after the six month grace period or will nothing happen to those loans because technically im still enrolled at uic? I have so many ?s And noone has been able to answer any . Also after my suspension lifts will I be able to get my credits and transfer them? I think it would be stupid for me to withdrawal now because I only completed up to Feb 26th of this semester so idk if my aid will be taken away and I’ll owe uic tons of money. I just want to know what my best bet would be. Thanks
You need to speak with the financial aid office at UIC in order to find out about the money.
