<p>Maybe call them, have your application reviewed for regular decisions so that you can re-take the SAT and send them new scores. If your scores improve significantly to like 700+, they may conclude you were sick or something on your 1st try. Good luck!</p>
<p>I realize that no one on this forum is an admission officer but come on… those stats are VERY low for any type of consideration to any of the top tier schools. And when you look at the reasons for the low scores… the OP basically states something to the effect that he was wasn’t driven or inspired enough to get the grades… it was the teacher’s fault… I’m really smarter than my grades reflect… and the old “I could’ve if I wanted to excuse” that NEVER holds water with admissions officers. I personally know an interviewer for Brown and he states that whenever he hears this excuse, it just means that the student was lazy. And as he states, why should a university give that student an opportunity when they could give it to others who have proven their work ethic and thus have a greater chance for success. I still can not believe this is serious. Sorry.</p>
