Has any one received a decision yet for Fall 2025 admission? They are supposed to start notifying as of September 15.

Hi! So glad someone asked. My son applied for the songwriting program and had everything completed by September 10. We haven’t heard yet either. Hopefully we hear soon. If he gets in he won’t apply anywhere else.

Thank you for posting this. My son is also waiting to hear as well and it’s his top choice. I too, thought they were starting to notifying as of September 15th. Please let me know if anyone hears anything.

Hi Everyone, my S25 just received an email today saying to check his portal! He was accepted to the University for Commercial Music, but now needs to be accepted to the music school by audition. His audition is November 9. He also received a “general merit award” for $19,000 per year! I’m really happy about this and that they put it in his acceptance letter this early. We were told after auditions the music school can also opt to offer merit as well, so my fingers are crossed. The letter acknowledged that he applied to the honors college and that he would be notified separately about that.
He has a 3.76 uw and 4.7 w gpa. No class rank at his high school. He applied Test Optional. Lots of leadership, involvement, and service at school with his music.

My son also received his admission to the Music Business program today with a merit scholarship we are very excited about. He is awaiting the decision regarding the songwriting program specifically.
If your son decides to go we should talk!

My daughter also got in with merit and is awaiting the songwriting program’s decision. Congrats to all and fingers crossed they all are in the songwriting program together!

This is helpful! We are still waiting. Admission and Songwriting (in the Curb School - not Music School). My daughter submitted Sept 13th. When did all your students submit the application?
I cant remember exactly, but I would say S25 applied in first week of August. He was early on applications to universities because he also has music school applications/prescreens and auditions too. It’s quite a process.

I dont know about it, but I was wondering if anyone got into the Honors College?
We have not heard about the songwriting program yet. I told my son to email perhaps if he doesn’t hear anything after October 15th

My S25 was admitted to Global Honors Program this morning! 2 weeks exactly after being notified of his admission.

My daughters got her’s today about 9:30 am EST. Accepted to Songwriting! We are all very proud!

Congrats to you both! My son didn’t get into the songwriting major. We were a little disappointed but still excited about Belmont. He will do music business and probably production. He can apply again later if he wants. Anyway a great music city and infrastructure to try to achieve music dreams
