<p>I’m planning to apply for Belmont University, majoring in Commercial Music. I’m from Hong Kong, but I’ve been studying at an International school since kindergarten (13 years).
These are the requirements for International Students applying to Belmont: </p>
<p>International applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by meeting any one of the following: minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper-based test (PBT) or 80 internet-based test (iBT); minimum IELTS score of 6.5; minimum SAT Critical Reading score of 530; minimum ACT English subscore of 23; successful completion of ELS Language Center Level 112.</p>
<p>I’m Chinese, but I’m so much better at English than Cantonese. I already took the SATs, but my critical reading score is 380 (I know, it’s bad).
Do I still need to meet these requirements?
