<p>I’ve visited CMU for Celebration of Diversity weekend, and I was accepted into CMU’s SCS and CIT, as well as Berkeley’s EECS with Regents, UT Austin’s CS with Honors Program, and Yale CS with amazing financial aid. I’m waitlisted at MIT.</p>
<p>I did have a good time at CMU, but I didn’t get enough insight into the CS program to have any coherent thoughts on it. I was hoping people at CMU could give me their general impression of majoring in CS in SCS. What are some of the great benefits of attending CMU for CS, as opposed to any of the other institutions I’ve been accepted into or waitlisted at?</p>
