Hello everyone! My son got Provost Scholarship at Bentley, how do I know if he is considered honored or not? It doesn’t say in the acceptance letter
Interesting update. My son submitted an honors award appeal along with his other scholarship offers. Within 72 hours Bentley moved from $0 merit to a $40,000 Director’s scholarship. Just fyi for anyone interested in trying that approach.

That’s great! We appealed but it was a minor adjustment - not enough to move the needle. If he got 40 he would have committed on the spot! Congrats!

Appealed again and total Merit now at 27K. Unfortunately the way they have handled this whole thing has soured him on the school - really not well managed.

Good to know. We went from 0 to 10, but that is not nearly enough especially when the stats are similar to others who are reporting they are getting more $. We keep getting emails and snail mail. If they need to put in all that effort to get kids to attend, you would think they would offer better merit awards from the start.

Agree - think they really mismanaged this to try and real in some extra dollars, but it wound up costing them commitments. They should have made an effort to lock in the applicants who showed demonstrated interest (higher likelihood to enroll). No idea what model they used for awards but agree it did not appear consistent.
