Berkeley Admissions Released Early?

^ Anyone??

Got in! 9***** 1960/620,600/3.96 with the talent supplement :)

YESYESYSEYEEYSS!!!

So how many people applied for Engineering have found their names there?

I presume …none were for engineering!!!

None coming out so far at least…

Applied for EECS. Name not there. International.

Engineering Physics, no name, international…

Applied for EECS, NAME IS THERE, International. :D

Checked several kids from our high school. Several names are here on the list and several are not. Interesting though - some kids on this list DID NOT get into UCLA. Additionally, some of the kids on this list are not stellar applicants. But personally, I do think this list is viable and if you are on it, you’re in.

I see my name, but the UID shown starts with a 9 and not a 7, is it like that for everyone? My UC application number is different from the UID , right?

Has anyone checked their berkeley app? Maybe the decisions are out early.

fl1p1, what was your talent? I got that supplement, but don’t think I made it…

Just checked the MyBerkeley site. Nope, decisions are not up. Where do you find your UID number? I only have a 7-digit number that begins with a 7.

in all honesty, no one can really know the truth until thursday, but it is getting more and more convincing that this is the real thing…im sorta excited and scared…

Nuclear engineering applicant here with a supplement and my name is not on there. I hope I get in. Ahhhhhhhj

Has Berkeley, in the past, released decisions earlier than the posted date?

I applied for Environmental Engineering and didnt get my name on the list…:(

does anyone else have any convincing evidence that this might be legit

So i was just punching in random numbers into the directory and i seem to observe that the range of names is 921000-942368 and this difference is equal to 21368. And this is too great to be the number of admission offers sent out. Also numbers like 925800 are showing blank entries as opposed to the standard no result found display.( Maybe they are yet to be filled? or maybe they are wait list spots or maybe tranfer spots IDK). ALso a number of people have UIDS in the range of 7***** so thats only adds to the number of accepted students?

Also I have observed several posts where people have commented saying that a number of candidates who have mediocre stats are on the list and a number of strong well qualified applicants are missing from the list (Hugedilemma for instance)

further I don’t believe that a college like CAL would just HOPE that students would never stumble on to the directory list. Also uploading their decisions 4 whole days before the release date doesn’t seem the most practical thing to do?

This is just my opinion ( I might just be trying to console myself for not being on the list here).

NO!!! My name is not there :frowning:
Applied to College of Chemistry :(

3 of my friends who applied to College of Letters and Science got in!

Another friend with much stellar stats and applied to College of Chemistry (Chemical Engineering) did not get in. I mean, her name is not there.
