Berkeley Admissions Released Early?

Just wanna be sentimental here: really enjoyed your company guys! who knows, if we all go to Cal,we might meet up someday and laugh about this. IF we get in and accept though :))

now this is wierd,…these names are still on there…<a href=“Campus directory - University of California, Berkeley”>Campus directory - University of California, Berkeley, <a href=“Campus directory - University of California, Berkeley”>Campus directory - University of California, Berkeley;

but then again, i found a name all capitalized who is a current student…<a href=“Campus directory - University of California, Berkeley”>Campus directory - University of California, Berkeley;

I just checked the directory…most of data of the new admitted students have got erased while only few are still kept there…

Have also been thinking that the too great a number of 92XXXX-94XXXX or whatever may include graduate students? Have any one mentioned this?? Anyhow, it was fun! XD

@UC123, 921830is officially off the list- the number you gave earlier that was still on, as you said. I also typed my last name, and there was no more capitalized names.

dean of admissions was probably yelling his brains out this morning. IT guy –> YOURE FIRED!

my name is capitalized, as well as my brother’s. does that mean I got rejected?

(well used to be, cuz now it’s not on there.)

@impetuous, they’ve discovered us! that’s why they got all the"admitted applicants" off… or so we think :)

haha so now we pretty much now that everyone whose name was on their before the names were removed was an admit?

I was asking mainly about the capitalized letters… anyone with caps?

if you were waitlisted, would your name still be on the directory?

@Impetuous, earlier, I think most if not ALL of the applicants here listed on the directory had capitalized names, including me. As one post said, it may be an indication that the SIR was not yet submitted (when you officially get accepted)

Someone should also check the regents IDs- if they were erased, and we got erased, then we are IN!!

these names are still there, 928933, 925052, 921240, 924744, 926135, 928460, 930059

add this guy too: 928866

LOL I think it’s accurate for the most part since there were plenty of gaps but I wouldn’t brag about it to your friends yet. also a few years ago some students, forget if it was at cal or not, figured out how to check admissions early. They had been accepted but the school rescinded the (unsent) offers.

Regents got erased too

@bsd, hope they wouldn’t rescind the POSSIBLE OFFERS for the people here. :(

EDIT:@laurenn, then that’s another nice sign for us :)

Anyway, nightynight! see you all in 5-8 hours!

They won’t rescind in this case.

@fromcal, how would they know who was searching. It was their mistake (:
And congrats in advanced to you all. My name never appeared!

i think cal realized this leak, looks like somebody got in trouble.

all of us 14 who were there earlier, now got erased. 2 of us are regents finalists (accepted for sure, as we were told during the interview).

makes me think more that the leak was legit.

and oh, all 14 of us, with capital letters…
