My name doesn’t come up, does this mean im rejected? please tell me cus im freaking out

at least look at the last few posts before you ask a question…

OK Guys, here is the scoop! You will find out if you are officially in or not on Thursday. I doubt this list is an indication of acceptances. People who confirm that it is real are just doing so because they found their name on the list and they want to be accepted badly.

um… no? now you are just being unreasonable…

@Rikin- Thanks Mr.Admissions Officer for that highly helpful piece of advice.

haha wonder if the chancellor is preparing an e-mail. “sorry we gaffed…we value privacy…blah blah blah.” The line you want or don’t want to see is, “a list of ADMITTED students was inadvertently made public”

My name shows up multiple times but none of the UID’s are in the 90xxxx-95xxxx range. Does this indicate a bad sign? All of the names matching mine are still present on the database too.

PLEASE…ALL THE NAMES OF “SUPPOSEDLY ADMITTED APPLICANTS” HAVE BEEN ERASED. let’s just wait 'till Thursday for the official decisions.

the directory has no value now. all the relevant names seem to have been pulled.

cornetking222-- maybe you just have a really common name & some current student or faculty member shares it. . .

Eff my life…i never made it on the list. Even though its not anything official, it seemed pretty convinvcing. Idk how it accounts for overqualified people not showing up while people with low stats appeared on it. I personally hope its nothing significant, but to those who were on it, congrats

Did anyone actually call admissions? Lol

How do people know all the supposedly admitted applicants were on there? Not one engineering applicant on this forum or that I know was on that list at 11 am ET or after. Where is your evidence @impetueous and whoever else. Please just inform me of that so I can just forget about the modified directory and patiently wait for the decisions on Thursday.

This is.

Also, Razi, people have different definitions of what qualified means.

Dude i really hope its not anything significant ( not to take anything away from all you guys who were on it)

Sorry I am getting so butt hurt by this. I just really want to go to Berkeley.

@JeremyIR

I’ve seen quite a few engineering applicants posting that they have their names.

You never know though. nothing is certain for now.

Ohhh … I didn’t see this thread until it’s too late
… now I’m more and more worried.
I’m an international ChemE applicant …

okay, I didn’t check the list earlier, so I don’t know if I got in or not.
But someone please answer these questions for me:

If it the list contains all applicants, why are many people not listed?

If it wasn’t the list of admitted students, but just a pool of all applicants, why do they erase it?

Just woke up but will now go to bed after checking that the previous numbers have indeed been deleted, except for 921000 to 921106. The names are capitalized and I encountered one gap in my random search.

btw, are the regents still erased until now?
