Violator I hope you’re right since I’ve been feeling down all day since I wasn’t in the database when I searched this morning but some of my lesser-qualified friends who were sure I would get in were on the list…

I’ve already got into some other nice schools but I would love the chance to even consider UCB amongst my other choices…

I was just wondering. I understand that official decision come on myBerkeleyApp Thursday evening. But do you guys think that it’s possible that admitted students’ names are on CalNet earlier in the day on Thursday?

You can’t delete your account, and even if you did, your post would still remain. You’re being excessively paranoid for absolutely no reason. More importantly, anyone could have looked up your post history and gotten hold of your stats long, long ago. In other words, a Cal officer could have looked you up long ago if he or she wanted to. The fact that you’re paranoid at this instant because of one post made 70 hours before the release date is quite confounding and illogical.

The notion that an officer from Cal would rescind your offer because you were on this thread is, like someone else noted, ludicrous and hilarious.

For those who are asking if their names being capitalized meaning anything…I looked for some people that I know and one of them who graduated in 2010 has only her last name in all caps, whereas another friend has her whole name in all caps and she’s currently a PhD student at Cal.

Just to clear up some things that were said earlier… I am an international engineering applicant and my name was on the list. So, yes, internationals were on it. And, yes, engineering applicants were on it. Take that as good news or bad news; it’s up to you.

I’m not saying that you were not in all I am saying is that loads of names were still being updated added to the list before Berkley realized and stopped it. And international Engineering seemed to be the ones being added.

calnet says they put admits in the database before SIR
there is 17k admitted undergrad and probably 4k admitted grad
the above matches the 20k IDs we found AND more IDs were being added
AND if u look in the ldap it shows some students in this ID group are registered [they are the grad students maybe]
all the other IDs have the name cleared [even tho the directory doesnt have them you can still look at ldap. just read WikiPedia List - WikipediaofLDAP_software

I didn’t read all of the posts here, but some people’s names are still there? Because mine isn’t there now and I received the Regents scholarship.
