berkeley fall program for freshmen

i just got into berkeley’s fall program for freshman, applying from texas. it says that i will be admitted to the college of letters and science in spring 2009, after spending one semester in the fall program for freshmen assuming i meet the basic requirements, (GPA, etc).

i applied to berkeley as pre-business major, so i was planning on applying to Haas during spring of my freshman year. if i do the fall program for Freshmen, will i still be eligible to apply to Haas next spring?

also, when I apply to Haas in spring 2009, would i be considered out of state since (assuming i do fall program for freshmen) i will have only lived in california for about 5-6 months, which i believe doesn’t meet official california residency requirements (although i’m not 100% on that). thx in advance

i believe you apply to Haas during spring of your sophomore year…so 2010…and you have to take pre reqs for the business school, and have to show leadership skills bud…

Yes, you cannot during your freshman year. You finish two years, then you move on to Haas.

No, you’ll still be OOS. Even if you’d been here for the required time, you’d still be an OOSer. There are other requirements for being considered in-state:
