Hi,
I am from Bulgaria and a week ago I received e-mail congratulating me on my acceptance to UC Berkeley. So I suppose I am really admitted but I still have not received any paper mail. Not that May 1 is very close but I am getting afraid I will not have time to answer Berkeley.

So do you know when were the paper mails sent? Should I assume my mail was lost or they just were sent late.

Another question I would like to ask is about financial aid. As far as I understood internationals have to pay for their first year and then they may apply for financial aid.

It is said that high GPA and financial need determine your scholarship, but how ‘high’ is this? Is it doable or you have to study all the time in order to qualify for scholarship.

I was admitted to the Engineering School , EECS major if that matters.

Thank you!
