@Avocadudette You can find an “update” button in the UCB portal, which directs you to the offer leter as a phd file.
As usual, UCB pdf file is out of alignment, but, readable.
Out of all the scholarship candidates, how many were actually awarded the scholarship?
@ericbadmon Yeah I also received the invitation from Davis. It’s the first year they’re doing that.
@secretgeek6 it is not my understanding that transfers go through the interview process, but I do believe, at least in the past, that there was another application transfer regents candidates had to fill out since some mentioned receiving an invitation to apply. Now it’s entirely possible that it’s changed in the past couple of years and we didn’t know about it since Berkeley is anything but transparent about transfer regents.
@ChopstixMonsta I read that there were 200 who received the award. She got into Brown, too. But of course they gave us way less money than Berkeley. We appealed Brown’s financial aid. It will be a tough decision between the two, but she is leaning towards Brown.

so how much was offered this year for ucb regents?? I was offered an undergrad scholarship and was wondering if there was a determining factor that was for one or the other?
can someone please explain how priority registration for regents works? do regents scholars get to actually register for classes earlier than everyone else?
also if anyone could put this in terms of specific registration dates/times for fall 2018 class registration that would be super helpful thanks!
@traveler2000 You get an earlier registration time compared to others. For me, it was usually a week ahead and equal with the seniors. So, for example, for last fall I had November 2nd or something similar for registration for spring, where as my non-regents friends had November 23. I don’t know about this fall
