<p>here’s the thing. I want to do business as my major and I have regents scholarship with so much benefits and such at ucsb and I heard they have a really good bus. econ major, but do you think it’s a good idea to pick ucsb over berkeley (which is twice the amount of money + no guarantee of Haas)

<p>Personally, because of the regents I would go with SB. IMO i feel like UCs are roughly very the same undergrad its just the campuses have different atmospheres. UCB is really large and competitive(some ppl love that) and SB is a bit smaller and laid back.
Like you said theres no guarantee of Haas for Berkley. Based on this situation the only positive i see for Berkeley is it’s good prestige.</p>
<p>I’d go Berkeley. If you maintain good grades you will get into HAAS, which is a top 5 business scool. Going to UCSB would be playing it safe.</p>
