Berkeley!

Cuz I don’t know where else to complain…

I need my Berkeley decision! It’s my last one, and I could possibly get away with no rejections if this one is ok. But I’m in China visiting my family, and I left my ID number at home. Argh! I can’t wait this long! I don’t get home til the 9th.

=(

You’ll survive. I was in Ireland on a band trip when Stanford decisions came out. I was having way too much fun to think about it, and I waited until I got home to find out. Ended up getting the news from my mom at the baggage claim.

Berkeley would’ve sent you an email with the ID number when you applied…you can check your decision online.

Why is this in the Stanford forum?

b/c a lot of us have created this mini-community on the Stanford board where we discuss everything, even if it doesn’t have to do with Stanford… :p

i got rejected from berkeley. Is that odd? Oh… hello everyone, again ;)

let me guess, you are an international student :D

devaaki!!! been a long time…

DEVAAKI!!! <3 Seriously, it HAS been a long time! Berkeley OOS is quite difficult…

Yea I just felt like this would be the best place to complain lol… pyleela is right.

And fuzzylogic, the ID isn’t in an email. They send it to you by paper mail. =( I e-mailed UCAP on Friday and I’m expecting my ID in e-mail today. Yippee!

It was sent by email:

Dang it… I just found it in my inbox and was going to come back and eat my words, but it looks like I was too late. But yea, I checked and I’m in! So that makes no rejections. Btw thanks for showing me up lol.

College admissions is now a closed chapter of my life. And I feel empty lol…

heh…sorry

:-P - I got in early to Stanford. Live in California. Still got rejected from Berkeley. Too bad I can’t send them the little card that says “It’s alright - I am going to Stanford.”

ooh such sweeet revenge :D

I actually did something of that sort for Duke…they sent me a small set of questions asking what university I picked over them and why…I was quite brutally honest. As if that wasn’t enough, I met one of the main admissions people for Duke at Stanford during admit weekend, said hi, and when he asked if I had made my choice yet, I smiled cheerily and informed him I had picked Stanford. :-P
