Does anyone know if Berklee awards scholarships after the first year?
Googling that question shows this:
I know a couple students who went to Berklee and had to drop out before graduation due to the cost. One was fabulously talented - and he didn’t get enough aid to be able to stay.
Continuing students may receive increased scholarship but it may not be large amount. It is possible, case by case, also it depends how much students are needed for ensembles and how much funding Berklee still has after awarding scholarships to all in-coming freshmen. If I remember correctly, someone posted in CC before about receiving increased scholarship during 1st or 2nd semester after she / he talked to scholarship department at Berklee. I just don’t remember where I found and how new / old the post was.
