Berlin

DS unable to find a job (hiring freezes) and is now accompanying his last internship’s mentor as a research assistant and gofer. (The mentor has a visiting lecturing professor gig in U of Potsdam.)

DS is looking for Room for Rent, 2 months.
Anybody you know?

Student housing might be a good option. Look here for starters:
[Studentenwerk Berlin - Student Housing](http://www.studentenwerk-berlin.de/en/wohnen/)

No specific suggestions, but friends from Berlin tell me that real estate is very reasonable there. Jobs, on the other hand are apparently a different story.

DS will be on stipend. He will be doing same thing he was doing in Redmond, and with the same mentor, only it will be in Berlin. How far the stipend will go is unknown since he does not know the housing cost.

thx binx, bela.
