Best advice for the sat

Hi!

I’ve been reading quite a lot about the model of the SAT and sometimes there are pages and pages of useless information in books. I would like to know your advices to do well in the SAT.

Please talk separetely abou the different sections CR, W and M.

If you can, give examples of the most common questions that appear on the SAT, talk about the main gramatical rules that one should know, tips on the ESSAY, etc.

To sum up, I just want to hear about your experiences and learn with them.

Stay Well

(BTW is there anyway I can get a PDF of Direct Hits? Because I’m doing the test on the 1st of November and if I order now Direct Hits it won’t arrive in time)

A PDF of DH would be an illegal copy, so please don’t ask us for that!

For the rest of your post…there are tons of posts on these topics already. Spend some time browsing the forums and you’ll get some great info.

I’m not asking for an illegal pdf. If you know any online store where I can buy a PDF of Direct Hits please tell me. Or if anyone has the 400 words list please send it to me through PM.

take care when you write “PM me the pdf”, as it rings bells all through CC! you might receive infraction, resulting in expulsion and no choice to return back!

That’s what I’m trying to tell you. There isn’t a legal PDF of it anywhere. It’s a copyrighted list. So no one can legally email it to you!

Whats a direct hit?

^^

Consider a book you prepared your vocab from. Now you give the SAT, and the CORRECT word choice on of one of the sentence completion questions was also in the book you prepared from. This word, thus, is a direct hit.

will some one tel me the best way to get 2200+ score in sat by taking it first time?
plz help i ve jst 1 month left… plz

Get Grammatix for CR passage based questions, RocketReview for writing, and Collegeboard for maths! And yes…direct hits for your vocab!

Im not an authority though!
