<p>For the past few days, I’ve been looking on and off for an old post that I’ve regarded as the best advice I’ve read here. And today, when lefthandofdog posted, I was able to find it because he was the author and I just couldn’t quite recall his user name.</p>
<p>I’ve benefited from 3 metric tonnes worth of great advice here, but this post was the reality check that I needed and I think all parents (and many applicants) ought to get their heads around today and file away for reference in mid-March:</p>
