<p>Strivectin has seemingly helped with the fine lines around my eyes a bit. If you use it on your face buy the “eye” formula. The regular stuff has an odor that might bother some people.</p>
<p>Quite honestly, I have only seen a significant difference in the people I know that had chemical peels and/or use botox. One good friend had a chemical peel last year and her skin is amazing…truly a baby’s bottom. If the furrow between my eyes becomes any deeper I might try botox but my husband thinks that I am nuts. </p>
<p>Don’t you think it is interesting how quickly these procedures have trickled down into middle America? Twenty years ago middle class, middle aged women slathered on some moisturizer and were done with it. I now have a harder time getting into my dermatologist to have pre-cancerous patches zapped because she is booked with cash-paying patients who are having cosmetic procedures. Even my OB/GYN’s office has someone administering botox.</p>
<p>donnat (sorry, still don’t know how to quote), I too have dark circles under my eyes and have tried so many products with so little result. Would love to hear if anyone has found a product that masks them in any way. </p>
<p>Also, for those who are intrigued by botox but are hesitant to try, I’ve had it about 4 times and I highly recommend it. I also have the two lines between my eyes and have had people ask me if I’m angry. I could have also used it on my forehead but didn’t go that far–just between the eyes to get rid of the ‘angry’ look that errupts sometimes. Worked like a charm, didn’t look fake at all and pain was very minimal. It’s very expensive so I’ve stopped for now…private school and college tuition takes precedence!!</p>
<p>Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer is wonderful. It’s $19 but one tube lasts for months. Get two during bonus gift time – one lighter than the rest of your face for under the eye and one that matches your skin for everywhere else.</p>

<p>If you don’t use makeup, then you may be a good candidate for the silicone wrinkle products. Someone gave me a tube of InstaTox that works very well - while it is on. It has no wrinkle fighting ingredients but really smooths your skin. You have to put it on just right. Too much results in residue and you have to let it dry completely. One tube lasts a really long time. I’m not sure where to get it but I think the Home Shopping Network carries it. I’m sure there are other brands too.</p>
<p>I have tried samples of Smashbox primer @ Sephora that I like. for some reason I like looking at Sephora more than dept stores- , the sale staff aren’t tied to one brand and they are usually friendlier/more honest with their opinions and best of all not as determined to sell you the store.</p>
<p>I love Smashbox Primer. I use the green because I have rosacea. It really doesn’t have any effect on wrinkles but it makes make up just glide on. It is one of the best products I have ever used.</p>
